In the Palace of Congresses on March 9 to 11, the First International Competition for Kitchen, Pizzeria and Bar, organized by the Association of Food and Welfare and Albanian Chefs & Cooks, was successfully completed, within the HoReCa fair.
The jury was formed by international guests, certified experts, members of the World Association of Chefs. In the competition for 3 categories, we had representatives from: Armenia, Israel, Palestine, Montenegro, Croatia, Turkey, Italy and Albania.
We take the opportunity to thank all our sponsors, the Jury and all the participants, for the spirit of international and cultural cooperation that was created during this event and that are helping us in our goal to achieve the promotion and improvement of this sector.

Gastro Alb ‘2 is an International Gastronomy Competition, organized for the second time by the Albanian Chefs & Cooks Association (now part of World Chefs),
in the categories: Kitchen, Pizzeria and Bar.

The Albanian Chefs & Cooks Association organized, for the third time in a row, the international Gastronomy competition for kitchens, pizzerias and bars. The most important event of Albanian cuisine, but above all of Albanian Chefs & Cooks, which is now a member of World Chef. In Gastro Alb ‘3 there was a significant participation of competitors, Albanian and foreign, public and private professional schools, young and professional, who competed with each other, according to the respective categories. The jury was also selected by World Chef, and the competition followed the rules set by them. According to the evaluation and accumulation of points, the respective prizes were awarded: Certificate, Bronx Medal, Silver, Gold and Cup. New this year was the placement of the World Chef logo on certificates, banners and every other important document of the event. So Gastro Alb ‘3 was an international competition recognized by World Chef.
After months of preparation, Gastro Alb ‘4 lowered its curtain for the fourth year in a row, on March 4-6, near the premises of ExpoCity Albania. As always, part of the HoReCa Fair, the largest hospitality and tourism fair in Albania.
Dozens of young men and women, students of culinary schools, and chefs with years of experience, tested their skills and creativity in the international competition of chefs and cooks.
Hot kitchen, Pizzeria, Latte Art and Cocktails were the categories where the competition between competitors took place over the course of 3 days.
Competition, MasterClasses, cultural activities, etc., were part of the 3 days of GastroAlb ‘4.

In a situation of fear and anxiety from the pandemic that has gripped the world, together, we managed to create something extraordinary, giving the opportunity to dozens of young men and women, professional chefs and culinary schools, to represent themselves in what is now known as the most important Gastronomy event in Albania.

Organized in three days near the premises of Expocity Albania, Gastro Alb brought together professionals, businesses, young enthusiasts, career chefs, representatives of WORLDCHEFS and dozens of culinary-loving visitors.

The competition of 14 public and private professional schools was organized in the premises of Expocity Albania!
The competition was monitored and judged by the national and international jury licensed by worldchefs!
Organized by the Albanian Chefs&Cooks Association in cooperation with Expocity Albania and the National Employment and Skills Agency.
The winner of this competition was Hoteleri-Turizme Tirana High School, to whom we wish success!
